Mission Wrecker Service has officially combined with Texas Auto Carriers. Effective July 14, 2026, the combined operation will move forward under the Texas Auto Carriers name, bringing together trusted local service with expanded towing, recovery, and transportation capabilities across Texas.
While the name is changing, the people our customers know and trust are not.
The Same Team and Leadership You Know
Vernon and Matt Oliver will continue leading the former Mission Wrecker Service terminals, which now operate under Texas Auto Carriers, alongside the same dedicated team. Customers can expect to work with the same people, using the same established processes and points of communication.
Existing customer agreements and pricing structures will also remain unchanged.
The transition is designed to strengthen the services and resources available to our customers while maintaining the relationships and dependable service that Mission Wrecker Service and Texas Auto Carriers have built over the years.

Texas Auto Carriers is part of Guardian Fleet Services, the largest towing and heavy transport organization in the United States, with over 50 locations across Texas and the southeastern U.S.
Being part of the Guardian Fleet Services network gives Texas Auto Carriers access to additional equipment, operators, locations, and resources. This expanded network strengthens our ability to respond to complex towing and transportation needs and support customers whose operations extend beyond our immediate service area.

As part of the transition, the Mission Wrecker Service name will move under Texas Auto Carriers. Customers will see new email addresses using the Texas Auto Carriers domain.
